RIVER LODGE – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Island Park, Idaho


River Lodge is operated and managed by Angler’s Lodge. By confirming a reservation and/or checking in, the guest agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT & PAYMENT POLICY


A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking.


The remaining balance will be automatically charged 14 days prior to arrival.


Guests selecting the Non-Refundable Rate will be charged 100% of the reservation at the time of booking. Non-Refundable reservations are non-refundable and non-modifiable.


The credit card on file must remain valid through the duration of the stay. If a payment is declined, River Lodge reserves the right to cancel the reservation unless alternate payment is provided immediately.

CANCELLATION & MODIFICATION POLICY


All reservation changes or cancellations must be made directly by calling 208-558-9555.


Standard Rate (20% Deposit Reservations):


• More than 14 days prior to arrival: Full refund.

• 8–14 days prior to arrival: 50% refund.

• 7 days or less prior to arrival: Non-refundable.


No-shows and early departures are non-refundable.


Date modifications requested more than 14 days prior to arrival may be accommodated based on availability and rate differences.


Modifications within 14 days of arrival are treated as cancellations.

INCIDENTAL HOLD & DAMAGE AUTHORIZATION


At check-in, a $50 authorization hold will be placed on the guest’s credit or debit card for incidental charges.


This hold may cover:


• Damage to the room or property

• Missing items

• Excessive cleaning

• Pet-related damages

• Smoking violations

• Unpaid balances


Charges may exceed the incidental hold amount and will be applied to the credit card on file.


If no incidental charges occur, the hold will be released after departure (release timing depends on the guest’s bank).

PET POLICY


Pet-friendly accommodations are available in designated units only. Guests must notify River Lodge at least 24 hours prior to arrival if traveling with pets.


Pet Fee: $10 per night (maximum two pets per room).


If pets are disclosed at least 24 hours prior to arrival, no additional cleaning fee will apply.


If pets are not disclosed in advance, a $30 cleaning fee will be charged in addition to the nightly pet fee.


Pets must not be left unattended in rooms.


Guests are financially responsible for pet-related damages, excessive cleaning, or odor remediation.

OCCUPANCY & REGISTERED GUEST POLICY


Each room has a maximum occupancy limit. This limit includes adults and children.


Only registered guests listed on the reservation may stay overnight.


Unauthorized guests, excessive visitors, or gatherings may result in:


• Additional charges

• Immediate termination of the stay

• Removal without refund

QUIET HOURS & GUEST CONDUCT


Quiet hours are observed daily from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.


Guests must maintain reasonable noise levels at all times.


Prohibited conduct includes:


• Excessive noise

• Disorderly behavior

• Public intoxication

• Illegal activity

• Property damage


Management reserves the right to remove guests without refund for violations of property policies.

SMOKING & MARIJUANA POLICY


River Lodge is strictly non-smoking indoors.


Smoking is prohibited inside all guest rooms and interior spaces, including cigarettes, cigars, vaping devices, and marijuana.


Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.


A minimum $250 smoking remediation fee will be charged for evidence of indoor smoking. Additional charges may apply for deep cleaning or lost revenue.


Marijuana use is prohibited in accordance with Idaho law.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK


River Lodge is located in a natural mountain environment. Guests acknowledge that outdoor conditions may include uneven terrain, weather changes, and wildlife presence.


Guests assume responsibility for their safety and the supervision of minors.


River Lodge is not liable for personal injury, accidents, or loss of personal property occurring on the premises.

MINIMUM AGE & IDENTIFICATION


The primary guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age and must present valid government-issued photo identification.


The name on the ID must match the reservation.


Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE


River Lodge is privately owned and operated. Management reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a stay without refund for policy violations, illegal activity, unsafe behavior, or disturbances affecting other guests.
